Our websites: www.boundrings.co.uk and boundrings.com.
Use of our website
You agree to use our websites only for lawful purposes and not to interfere with or disrupt their security or operation. We may suspend or terminate access to the websites if you breach these Terms.
Eligibility
Our products are available to customers in the UK and EU, including both consumers and business customers. By placing an order, you confirm that you are legally capable of entering into a binding contract under the laws of your country of residence.
Products and descriptions
We sell pre-made metal rings, with optional engraving and other customisation as described on the product pages. Product images and descriptions are for guidance and may show slight variations in colour, finish and details due to screen settings and manufacturing tolerances.
Pricing, currency and payments
-
All prices are shown in Pounds Sterling (GBP).
-
We are not currently VAT registered and therefore do not charge VAT. If this changes, pricing information will be updated.
-
We accept payment via Shopify Payments (including major cards such as Visa and Mastercard), Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, iDEAL and any other methods shown at checkout.
-
Third-party payment providers may offer their own financing or instalment options, which are subject to their separate terms.
Order process and contract formation
-
You place an order by completing the checkout process and submitting payment on our website.
-
You will receive an email acknowledging receipt of your order; this is not acceptance of your order.
-
The contract between you and us is only formed when we send you a dispatch confirmation email and dispatch the products.
We may reject an order (and refund any payment) if, for example, the product is unavailable, there is an error in pricing or description, or we reasonably suspect fraud or misuse.
Shipping and delivery
Shipping methods, delivery times, charges and any applicable delivery restrictions are set out in our separate Shipping Policy.
Risk in the products passes to you when they are delivered to the delivery address you provide. Ownership of the products passes when we have received full payment.
Returns, cancellations and your legal rights
Our Returns Policy, including how to exercise your right to cancel, return or exchange, is set out separately. View our returns policy here.
Nothing in these Terms or in our Returns Policy affects your statutory rights under UK or EU consumer protection laws, including your rights in relation to faulty or misdescribed goods.
Custom and engraved items
Customised or engraved rings are made specifically for you and are generally not eligible for change-of-mind returns or cancellations once production has started, except where required by law (for example, if the product is faulty or not as described).
Please check all personalisation details (such as engraving text and ring size) carefully before placing your order.
Ring sizing and non-resizable rings
Our rings cannot be resized due to their construction and materials. If you order the wrong size, you may be able to return eligible non-customised, non-engraved rings in accordance with our Returns Policy, but customised or engraved items are not returnable for sizing errors unless they are faulty.
Sizing guidance provided on our website is for information only and does not guarantee a perfect fit.
Warranty
In addition to your statutory rights, we provide a 5-year warranty against manufacturing defects on our rings, subject to the limitations below.
-
The warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal intended use.
-
The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, misuse, accidental damage, loss, theft, unauthorised repairs or modifications, or damage resulting from failure to follow care instructions.
For tungsten rings, due to the naturally hard but brittle nature of tungsten carbide, the warranty is limited as follows:
-
Tungsten rings may crack or shatter under high impact or stress.
-
The warranty for tungsten rings includes up to one free replacement if the ring cracks under normal wear during the 5-year warranty period.
-
Further replacements, or replacements where damage arises from clear misuse, abuse or non-intended use, are not covered.
No ring is completely scratch-proof, and scratching or surface wear is not covered under the warranty.
How to make a warranty claim and any evidence or return process required will be set out in our Returns Policy or may be provided to you when you contact us.
