Ordering & Sizing
How do I find my ring size?

You can order a ring sizer from us. Once you know your size and place an order, the cost of the ring sizer will be automatically deducted from your basket total (provided you checkout with the same email address).

Make sure to measure at different times of day to confirm consistent sizing.

If you order the wrong size, our 30 day returns policy will cover you. Simply return the original ring for a full refund, and then re-purchase the correct size.

Do ring sizes vary between countries?

Yes. UK sizing differs from US, EU, and other international standards. Our size charts show conversions, but when in doubt, measure your finger with a standard UK ring sizer, like the one we offer here.

All of our rings are made to UK sizes.

What if my ring doesn't fit when it arrives?

Return it within 30 days for full refund or exchange (non-engraved rings only). Alternatively, use our lifetime size-exchange programme—exchange for the correct size at 50% of purchase price, no time limit. Covers weight fluctuations, aging, or simply getting the fit right.

Can I order a sample ring to test the size and style?

Not currently, but our 30-day return policy serves the same purpose. Order your desired ring in your expected size. Try it at home. If it doesn't fit or you're unhappy with the style, return it within 30 days for full refund (minus return postage).

Resizing Programme
What is the Re-sizing Programme?

Some of our rings are made from materials that cannot be traditionally resized once manufactured:

  • Tungsten
  • Titanium
  • Stainless steel (all types)
  • Zirconium

If your finger size changes in the future, our Re-sizing Programme lets you purchase a replacement ring in the correct size at 50% off.

Programme details:

  • Discount: 50% off the replacement ring price
  • Validity: Lifetime (no expiry)
  • Use limit: Once per ring (based on original order number)
  • Style: Same design only (size changes only—no material, finish, or width changes)
How does the Re-sizing Programme work?

Email us at hello@boundrings.co.uk with:

  • Your original order number.
  • The ring name/design.
  • The new size you need

We'll confirm eligibility and provide a 50% off code or checkout link

Place your replacement order for the same design in your new size

Important details:

  • The original ring does not need to be returned
  • UK shipping on the replacement is free
  • International shipping charges apply for non-UK delivery (plus any local duties/taxes)
Can I use the Re-sizing Programme for engraved rings?

Yes. Engraved rings are eligible for the Re-sizing Programme.

How it works:

  • The 50% discount applies to the replacement ring
  • If you choose to engrave the replacement ring, the engraving fee is charged again at full price
What doesn't the Re-sizing Programme cover?

The programme does not apply to:

  • Final sale or clearance items
  • Requests to change design, finish, width, or material (size changes only)
  • Requests that cannot be matched to a valid original order number

This programme is intended for genuine finger size changes over time and is offered as a one-time courtesy per ring. We reserve the right to refuse requests that appear to be misuse or fall outside these terms.

Shipping & Delivery
How long does delivery take?

Processing times:

  • In-Stock rings - 1-2 business days after payment is received (Monday-Friday, excluding UK bank holidays)
  • Made-to-order rings - 8-12 weeks

UK Delivery:

  • Service: Next-day tracked delivery (Royal Mail Tracked 48)
  • Delivery timeframe: 1-2 business days after dispatch
  • Shipping cost: Free

EU Delivery:

  • Service: Tracked international (Royal Mail/DPD)
  • Delivery timeframe: Approximately 3-7 business days after dispatch
  • Shipping cost: Free

All orders shipped with tracked services as standard. You'll receive a dispatch email with tracking number once your order leaves our warehouse.

Note: Delivery timeframes are estimates only. Delays can occasionally occur due to customs checks, courier delays, or adverse weather.

Do you ship internationally?

We currently ship to:

  • United Kingdom
  • European Union member countries

We do not ship to:

  • PO Box addresses
  • Countries outside the EU (e.g., Norway, Switzerland, USA)

All shipping is free of charge to UK and EU destinations.

Can I track my order?

Yes. All orders are shipped using tracked services. You'll receive a dispatch email with your tracking number and a link to track your parcel online once your order has left our warehouse.

Please allow some time after dispatch for tracking information to update in the courier's system.

Will I have to pay customs or import duties?

UK orders: No customs charges apply.

EU orders: We send orders on a Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) basis where possible, meaning import VAT, duties, and standard clearance fees are generally handled by us or our logistics partners rather than you.

In rare cases, local authorities or courier's may apply additional charges on arrival that are outside our control. If you're unsure about local import rules, check with your customs office before ordering.

What if I entered the wrong delivery address?

Please ensure your delivery address is complete and accurate at checkout. We are not responsible for non-delivery or delays caused by incorrect or incomplete addresses.

If a parcel is returned to us due to an incorrect address or failure to collect, we will contact you to correct the address, and may ask you to cover the cost of re-shipping.

My order hasn't arrived. What should I do?

Occasionally, deliveries may be delayed. We generally treat a parcel as potentially lost if it has not arrived within:

  • UK orders: 10 business days after the expected delivery date
  • EU orders: Longer timeframe due to customs and local postal processing

If your parcel hasn't arrived within these timeframes, contact us at hello@boundrings.co.uk with your order number and tracking details.

Where an investigation with the courier confirms a parcel has been lost, we'll offer:

  • A replacement (where stock is available), or
  • A refund if replacement isn't possible
What if my order arrives damaged?

Contact us at hello@boundrings.co.uk as soon as you notice the damage, with:

  • Photos of the packaging and the item
  • Your order number

We may need this information to open a claim with the courier and arrange a replacement or refund.

Returns, Exchanges & Refunds
What is your returns policy?

30-day return policy from the date you receive your item.

To be eligible for return:

  • In a resellable condition - damage free.
  • Unworn and unused beyond trying on.
  • Receipt or proof of purchase required.

To start a return:

  1. Contact us at hello@boundrings.co.uk
  2. Once your return is authorised, we'll send you return instructions.
  3. Send the item back to us.

Please note - for non-defective items, return postage is at your cost.

Important: Items sent back without first requesting a return may not be accepted.

EU customers: You have a 14-day cooling-off period to cancel or return your order for any reason, no justification needed.

What items cannot be returned?

The following cannot be returned:

  • Custom or personalized items (including engraved rings)
  • Sale items or clearance products
  • Gift cards

Can I exchange my ring for a different size or style?

We don't offer direct exchanges. The fastest way to get what you want:

  1. Return the item you have
  2. Once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item

For sizing issues on non-resizable rings (tungsten, titanium, stainless steel, zirconium), see our Re-sizing Programme below - it may be a better option.

How long does it take to get my refund?

Once we receive and inspect your return:

  1. We'll notify you if the refund was approved or not
  2. If approved, you'll be automatically refunded to your original payment method within 10 business days
  3. Your bank or credit card company may take additional time to process and post the refund

If more than 15 business days have passed since we approved your return, contact us at hello@boundrings.co.uk.

What if my ring arrives defective or damaged?

Contact us immediately at hello@boundrings.co.uk if your item is:

  • Defective
  • Damaged
  • The wrong item

We'll evaluate the issue and make it right - either through replacement or refund.

Can I cancel my order?

Pre-orders:
If you've purchased a pre-order that hasn't been fulfilled yet, you can cancel it. Contact us at hello@boundrings.co.uk.

If the pre-order has already been fulfilled, you cannot cancel, but you can request a return following our standard 30-day return policy.

Standard orders:
Once an order has been processed and dispatched (typically within 1-2 business days), it cannot be cancelled. You can return it once received, following our 30-day return policy.

Which material is best for me?

Depends on your priorities:

  • Maximum scratch resistance: Tungsten carbide (Mohs 9)
  • Lightest weight: Titanium or silicone
  • Best hypoallergenic: Titanium, 316L stainless, silicone
  • Modern black finish: Black zirconium (permanent color)
  • Safety breakaway: Silicone (for high-risk professions)
  • Best value: 304 stainless steel

Are your rings hypoallergenic?

Yes—when you choose the right material:

  • Titanium: Naturally hypoallergenic, biocompatible
  • 316L Stainless Steel: Surgical-grade, minimal nickel release
  • Tungsten Carbide: Nickel-bonded (nickel locks chemically, won't react with skin)
  • Black Zirconium: Hypoallergenic
  • Silicone: Medical-grade hypoallergenic
  • 304 Stainless Steel: Generally hypoallergenic (slightly more nickel than 316L)

If you have severe nickel allergies, choose titanium, 316L stainless, or silicone.

Will my ring scratch?

It depends on the material. Tungsten carbide is the most scratch-resistant. Titanium and stainless steel develop fine scratches over time but wear evenly. Black zirconium resists scratches well. Silicone is scratch-resistant but will eventually show wear from abrasion.

No material is completely scratch-proof, but tungsten comes closest for everyday wear.

Can alternative metal rings be resized?

Traditional resizing limitations:

  • Tungsten & Silicone: Cannot be resized
  • Titanium, Black Zirconium & Stainless Steel: Limited resizing, from specialist jewellers (1-2 sizes maximum)

That's why our lifetime size-exchange programme exists. Instead of traditional resizing, exchange your ring for a new size at 50% of purchase price—covers you for life, regardless of material.

How heavy are the rings?

Material density varies significantly:

  • Tungsten: Heavy (15.6 g/cm³)—substantial, premium feel
  • Titanium: Very light (4.5 g/cm³)—barely noticeable
  • Stainless Steel (304 & 316L): Medium weight (7.9 g/cm³)
  • Black Zirconium: Light-medium (6.5 g/cm³)
  • Silicone: Ultra-light

Width also affects weight—wider bands feel heavier regardless of material.

Warranty & Guarantees
What is your returns policy?

5-year comprehensive warranty covers:

  • Manufacturing defects (structural failures, finish defects, material flaws)
  • Faulty workmanship
  • Cracking, breaking, or splitting under normal wear
  • Surface scratches present upon delivery
  • Loose inlays or detached components
  • Engraving defects (fading or incorrect engraving performed by us)
  • Special coverage: Tungsten rings receive one replacement if cracked, even from accidental impact

Not covered:

  • Normal wear and tear (fine scratches, scuffs from daily use)
  • Loss or theft
  • Accidental damage (except tungsten cracking)
  • Modifications or repairs by third parties
  • Silicone rings (excluded due to break-away safety design)
  • Normal wear and tear (fine scratches from daily use)

  • Damage from extreme impact or abuse
How do I make a warranty claim?

Email hello@boundrings.co.uk with:

  • Your order number (or name and delivery address)
  • Clear photos of the defect
  • Description of the problem

We'll assess your claim within 5 business days and provide a prepaid return label if approved. We cover all shipping costs for valid warranty claims (UK and EU).

Does the warranty transfer if I gift the ring?

Yes. Our warranty follows the ring, not the original purchaser. The warranty remains valid for the full 5-year period from the original purchase date.

No registration required. The recipient needs proof of purchase (order confirmation email) or verification details (original purchaser's name and delivery address) to make a claim.
