Our Story

Modern rings. Real life.

At Bound, we make modern wedding rings built for real life - alternative materials chosen for durability, scratch resistance, and comfort on skin, starting from £99 for metal rings.

If you lift, hike, build, train, travel, or you just don’t want a ring you have to worry about, this is for you.

The origin story

Bound began when we (Emma & Owen), were trying to choose our own rings. Owen wanted something that would keep up with daily abuse at the gym without needing ongoing maintenance. Emma wanted a minimalist ring - no gems, simple upkeep - and we both wanted a pair that felt cohesive together.

We couldn’t find the balance: the market seemed full of either traditional precious metals at prices we couldn’t justify, or “budget” rings that often relied on plating or gimmicks we didn’t trust long-term. So we decided to build the option we wished existed.

What we do differently

We select materials based on how they actually behave in everyday wear. We keep production runs small-batch so our customers get the benefit of efficiency (lower prices), coupled with the premium quality and attention to detail that can get lost in high volume.

Our launch materials include tungsten carbide (nickel binder), stainless steel (304 and 316L), black zirconium, and titanium - so you can choose the feel, weight, colour, and toughness that best matches your life.

Not sure where to start? Try comparing materials to find the one that's right for you.

Our promises (how we do business)

Informed choice: We share realistic straightforward comparisons (pros, cons, and real trade-offs) so you can choose confidently, not guess.
Customer protection: Ordering a wedding ring is a big decision. If you choose the wrong size or material, you shouldn’t be stuck - easy returns and exchanges are part of the experience. So we back every purchase with a 30-day returns & exchanges policy.
Long-term confidence: Every ring is supported by a lifetime warranty and a re-sizing programme offering you a 50% discount against a new ring should your size ever change.
